Terms of sale

These terms govern the purchase of Wine Academy courses through ivanmonreal.com. By clicking «Buy now» and completing the payment, the buyer declares that they have read and accepted them. You can save or print them from your browser.

1. Who is selling

2. What is being bought

The «Profitable wine list» course (Wine Mapping method) is offered in three options. Its detailed content is described on the course page:

• Group: course materials (PDF handbook, Excel calculator and two wine list templates in Word) and a live online class, in a small group, by video call.
• Pro: the same materials and a one-to-one live online session on the buyer's wine list.
• At your restaurant: blended format with a tailor-made quote. It is contracted separately, with its own quote, and not through these online purchases.

3. Prices and payment

The published prices are for professionals and are shown without IGIC; the final amount including 7% IGIC is shown next to the purchase button and on the payment page. Payment is made in a single instalment by card or other methods available through Stripe, a secure payment platform. Iván Monreal Somm has no access to your card details.

After payment you will receive a receipt by email. The invoice with IGIC is issued to the billing details given in the purchase and sent by email.

4. Delivery of materials

The materials are sent by email, to the address given in the purchase, within a maximum of 24 hours of payment. If you don't receive them within that time, check your spam folder and write to me at ivan.monreal@yahoo.de.

5. Live classes

• Group: the class takes place on the date and at the time shown on the website or communicated by email. If you can't attend, you can sign up for the next available group session at no extra cost.
• Pro: the one-to-one session is scheduled by mutual agreement and must take place within 3 months of the purchase date. If it has not taken place by then for reasons beyond Iván Monreal Somm's control, the session will be considered used.
• Classes take place by video call (for example, Zoom). The buyer is responsible for having a suitable connection and device.
• If, due to force majeure, Iván Monreal Somm has to change the date of a class, you will be notified as early as possible and a new date will be offered.

6. Refunds and right of withdrawal

You can cancel your purchase and receive a full refund if you request it by email before receiving the materials.

Once the materials have been sent, no refunds are given, as this is digital content delivered immediately. If the buyer is acting as a consumer, by accepting these terms they expressly request that the materials be sent immediately after payment and acknowledge that, once received, they lose the right of withdrawal, in accordance with article 103 of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users).

7. Use of materials

The materials and classes are for the professional or personal use of the buyer and their establishment. They may not be resold, shared publicly, distributed to third parties or recorded without permission. All content is protected by intellectual property law (see legal notice).

8. Personal data

The data provided in the purchase is used to manage the order, send the materials, organise the classes and issue the invoice. More information in the privacy policy.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties will submit to the courts that have jurisdiction under current regulations; if the buyer is a consumer, these will be the courts of their place of residence.
